As part of our continued international growth, we are looking for a Sales Manager to drive business development and revenue growth across Southern Europe, with a primary focus on Italy and Turkey.
Reporting directly to the EMEA Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Southern Europe, with a primary focus on Italy and Turkey. Working closely with our Marketing, Business Development, Application Engineering and Product teams, you will develop customer relationships, support our distributor network and convert qualified opportunities into successful business.
You will be part of a team of 5 people.
Your main responsibilities:
Own and develop the business across Southern Europe, with a primary focus on Italy and Turkey, with opportunities to contribute to the development of other Southern European markets.
Be responsible for customer accounts, sales revenue and territory growth within your region.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, distributors, system integrators and strategic partners.
Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams to convert qualified opportunities into successful business.
Manage and support the distributor network to ensure strong market coverage and sustainable growth.
Analyze customer requirements and recommend the most appropriate SBG Systems solutions.
Prepare commercial proposals and lead opportunities through the complete sales cycle until order closing.
Coordinate customer demonstrations, evaluations and technical discussions with the support of the Application Engineering and Support teams.
Coordinate your sales activities with internal stakeholders including Operations, Technical Support and Product Management.
Develop and strengthen SBG Systems' presence within Defense organizations, system integrators, OEMs and strategic partners across the region.
Represent SBG Systems at industry events, conferences and trade shows within your territory.
Develop the company’s presence within academic and research accounts through presentations, sponsorships and partnerships.
Monitor market trends, competitive activities and key customer developments within your territory.
Travel regularly across the region (30% to 50% of your time).

This role combines technical sales, distributor management and strategic account development in high-growth markets.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, account management or channel sales within Southern Europe.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Navigation, Aerospace or a related technical field.
Experience within Defense, Aerospace, System Integrators, OEMs or government-related programs would be highly valued.
Experience working with distributors, channel partners and international customers.
Proven ability to develop customer relationships and convert opportunities into business.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage both engineering teams and business decision-makers.
Ability to work independently while managing a large international territory.
Fluent English is mandatory.
Italian or Turkish would be considered a strong advantage.

Salary conditions: Competitive package including a fixed salary between €80,000 and €100,000 depending on experience, plus an attractive variable compensation plan.
